About Sueño Digviana
Sueño Digviana was formed in 1993 under the name "Silent Journey" and singing in English with strong influences of grunge. Alfredo Kaegi, Fernando Revilla, Jaime Rojas and Daniel Bali not discouraged the language barriers and were only convinced to create original music. In 1995, the group made its turn towards the spanish and assumes a new identity by becoming a trio with the integration of Diego Henriquez and the departure of Ferdinand and Daniel. With the addition of Alexander Rose on bass in 1997, the group begins to occur in the rock tradition bars: Backstreet, D'Barro, La Mina, La Casita del Pueblo and Zanzibar. Areas where the youth would find an escape from the conservatism and enjoy the music of Requiem, half +1, Ecos de Dioses, Sol Caracol and Azul Revolver, bands that formed a bold move of Alternative Rock and never before seen in the country. In 1997, Alfredo Kaegi (vocals and guitar), Jaime Rojas (drums), Diego Henríquez (guitar) and Alejandro Rosa (bass)) made the first record of his music, some argue, had become the most interesting proposal of the alternative movement. The result was a mini-demo that the band distributed in various radio stations. The songs: Cadena T.V., Casi un Himno, La Más Nueva Aun, Casiopea e Insectos, sounded like creative, sensitive and fearless rock, eager to create their own identity. Thus, the band is present in the alternative movement of the times and manages to strengthen major concerts such as openness to argentinan band "2 Minutes" and the famous "La Ley" from Chile. With sold-out events and hosting both quite successful, the small Honduran band enjoyed the reputation of others and presented to its first mass audience. Motivated by these presentations and the integration of an additional guitarist, Valentine Mauri, Sueño Digviana intends to record their first album in 2001. Several months of work and continuous learning resulting in their debut LP, "Hoy es Nunca" produced by Rafael David. Hoy es nunca is an album of dense and psychedelic passages. In its best moments, recalls the pure rock of 70's and lots of psychedelia from Pink Floyd. In a global sense, but at the same time covering issues very own idiosyncrasies Honduras. Thanks to this first production achieved Sueño Digviana make a small tour that takes them to the country's major cities such as San Pedro Sula, Comayagua, La Ceiba, Copán, Danlí, and evento to the capital of the neighbour country El Salvador: San Salvador. In 2005, after some sporadic presentations and the necessary conclusion of the cycle is never created by Hoy es Nunca, Sueño Digviana craves recording their second LP and enters the studio once again with David and Allan Rafael Monroy (ex-Half +1) on bass, in January 2006. The result: Recuerdos de Acetona en Día de Invierno. Surprisingly different from his previous job, without preamble captivate ten songs in just 35 minutes of music and Sueño Digviana were able to portray a different facet of his musical personality.
