About Stevie Cripps

All Stevie cared about from a very early age was music. Obtaining his first record player at just 5 years old, he yearned to listen to "Funky Moped" and the "Stars on 45". It was his thing, what he did during every waking hour of his life at that time, driving his folk crazy. It wasn't until years later his passion for music had become part of his working life and he ending up working along side some of the biggest names in the dance music business. In his view it was inevitable that he would have to get his hands dirty and eventually make "a tune"! After a quick trip to Tottenham Court road in London during a lunch break, Stevie bought a Casio keyboard and within a week he had produced his first track. Little did he know then that two weeks later Pete Tong would be belting it out across the nation to millions of young followers. The calls came in, one in particular from Boy George who wanted more copies to give to his DJ mates. "The crowd went fucking crazy" he said - stunning Stevie in to silence. Focussing on other parts of Music as a career it took another 8 years before Stevie would write a dance track again, and being a huge Trance fanatic decided to revisit the arpeggiators and thick swirling uplifting chords of his favourite Genre. Working for and with such influential DJ's as PVD and Armin Van Buuren has given him access to some of the best dance tunes around and he absorbs everything. Today Stevie had dedicated more of his time to producing Dance music and promises to continue releasing quality tracks, that will make people move!
