About Steve Noonan

Steve Noonan was an American folk-rock singer-songwriter who released an eponymous album in 1968 on the Elektra label. By then, Noonan had been hailed by the Los Angeles magazine Cheetah as one of the "Orange County Three," a trio of singer/songwriters from the area to watch out for; the others being Jackson Browne and Tim Buckley. Prior to his album, in 1967, Noonan had success co-writing (with Greg Copeland) a minor hit single for Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, "Buy Me for the Rain".
