About Steve Collett
Steve Collett is an English composer and sound designer who has worked professionally in music and audio production since 1991. He began his career at Probe Software, where he worked as a composer, often collaborating with fellow composer Nick Stroud. During his time at the company he composed music primarily for games released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Game Boy, while also contributing to titles on the Sega Mega Drive and other platforms. Around 1995 he left Probe Software and established his own music production company, Rockett Music. Through this company he worked mainly on projects for the Game Boy Color and the Game Boy Advance. The company was later closed. Collett has continued to work in the field of video game audio and operates the company Lowrider Sound, which provides music and sound design for games and other media.
