Before Stereoslave could think about music himself, he was influenced by the "discomania" of his parents - with seriuos effects in the future... His first experience as a DJ Stereoslave made at the early age of 14, very much interested in the music of the 80s and playing his sets on various occasions. At this time records were hardly available in the former GDR (East Germany), so he had to deal, exchange and mix with tapes. It was also in this time in the 80s, when Stereoslave was influenced by the then upcoming trends of New Wave, Electro and EBM. In 1992 he started his first own band "Lostimulation", producing his own musical ideas influenced by bands like Skinny Puppy or Frontline Assembly which are viewed today as the roots of electronic music in our time. At the beginning of the 90s Techno and House music was developing and spreading all over the world. In this time Stereoslave's career as a DJ began. As "DJ Slave" he was playing a big role on setting up the local party-scene. From 1995 on he was regularly organizing House Parties and Underground Events. Wherever there was a fitting location there was a party, organized on short notice and mostly ended by the police some hours later... Since then he presented his sets in clubs like "Aufschwung Ost", back then very popular in Kassel or ist sucessor "Stammheim". But not only by playing records. With his former studio project and a guitarist he was also performing live on several occasions. In the middle and end of the 90s Stereoslave often travelled to France, presenting his sets in the country where house music still had to be set up and developed. He was feeling the upcoming spirit of house in France, developing to a very special and new form of house music - the French House. Stereoslave's sets are very much influenced by the impressions he got in these years, always fresh and innovative. He mixes classical elements like Disco with modern French and Uplifting House, driving his fans crazy with with his deep pumping and driving tunes. His musical roots from the 80s always have a part in his sets. Today Stereslave is touring Germany as a Booking DJ and works in the xStammheimx-sucessor "Die Nacht" in Kassel as Resident DJ.
