About Starslugs
Starslugs comes from Abruzzo (center Italy), and are formed by Danilo Di Feliciantonio, Pierluigi Cacciatore and a Roland tr707. Influenced by punk rock and post-hardcore bands as Big Black, Jesus Lizard, Wire, Rapeman, Shellac, Fugazi, and experimental music, in particular Industrial and ultra-rhytmic artists as Foetus, Cop Shoot Cop, Chrome, Chu Ishikawa, these two men and the android drummer started to play in 2007. They have currently release a free Ep called "Gestal X", followed by "Fist" in 2008. The group is currently working on a first full-lenght work, inspired by cyberpunk aesthetic (P.K. Dick, J.G. Ballard, Stefano Tamburini, Shinya Tsukamoto) that should be released in 2009 if the Earth will not explode first.
