About Stagnox

Stagnox is a gothic alternative pop punk band founded by songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Keaton Walsh (guitar, vocals) and Ben Robison (bass, vocals) in Keene, New Hampshire. After recruiting drummer Lucas Majer, they played their first show at Keene State College in May of 2025. Inspired by My Chemical Romance, Deftones, and The Cure, and fueled by their mutual love of strong hooks, catchy choruses, infectious grooves, and dark melodic sounds, they draw from several genres spanning pop, goth, punk, metal, and electronic music to create a unique and dynamic sound. Stagnox firmly established themselves as a new and youthful presence in the neighboring Brattleboro alternative and punk scene, and quickly became known for their high-energy live performances. They've made appearances on Brattleboro Community Television and have opened for bands such as Keep Flying and SLOB DROP. In January of 2026, they released a 9 song demo entitled "Peanut Butter and Jealousy," featuring recordings of live favorites like "Dummy," "Ladybug" and "Stay Away From Elm City."
