Since 2002, the duo originated from Lyon, Cédric Béron (Machines) and Franck Laurino (Bästard’s ex-drummer), has grown a kinky tendency for experiments of any kind… In 2003, the prolific duo had a go with a first album “On vous ennuie” (L.A Prod), and later, after a few concerts, the creation of their hybrid album “Highway to jail” took place. This peculiar and minimalist record, wavering between grating alternative hip (even trip, sometimes) hop, and ambient electro-music, caressing from time to time industrial music, throws us right into a world of gloomy samples, light at heart heavy beats, black dub, urban down tempo, sound constructions and de-constructions, cold and sober rhythms, deep bass guitars and catchy vocals…
