Source five are a pop punk/ pop rock band from the south wales region of the UK. the band began practising in 2003, they then consisted of matthew lawrence (drums), anthony trigg (bass), greg burke (guitar), tomo ridley seigert (vocals) and joe premier (guitar). the band have gigged a considerable amount in the cardiff area in subsequent years, also recording two EPs (source five , daddy's little princess ). it was during 2005 that source five played their last gig as a 5 piece band, with the departure of anthony trigg and greg burke. changes in the band due to this include tomo playing bass and lead vocals, with a larger contribution to the vocal effort from the other members. source five has no intention of employing new members for respect of the departed members. since then, a more regular gig pattern has been resumed with further ventures from their base in cardiff. with plans to finish recording a full length album early in the summer of 2006 source five will be attending as many gigs as possible before an inevitable hiatus as band members pursue degree level education. 2007 update: the band have now started the printing stages of their cds which will be available soon. they have their sights set on summer for the promotion of the cd, trying to gig as much as possible, and generally having fun.
