Soundcore 2009 was 8 weeks of Creative Space and Audio Technology Education Enjoyed by 18 musicians all under the age of 25. The crew wrote 28 songs in 12 days, recorded the top 9 in a professional studio and completed 5 modules from the Certificate 2 Music Industry Training Package at the Reynella Youth Centre. The many musicians ranged from rockers, to punkers, to hardcore punks, rapers, indie fans and hip hop rhymers too. In the last section of their studies they recorded a professional full release album titled "The Illness." This album had 8 tracks in total.
