About Sound Diffusion
Sound Diffusion as project is a result of the mutual passion of Aleksandar Vidinovski and Darko Spasovski towards the basselines and ride-crashes . They were basically hooked by the new groove which appeared back in 1993-94 in their city of birth Skopje. They realized that they will not just consume this music, but also they stated to work with it. As teenagers they stated to get gigs in the clubs in Skopje, and later on taking the chance to promote themselves as DJ's in other cities in the area. In 2003 they gathered together in the studio, working hard to develop on their own style and sound. After a hard work in 2005, their collaboration and friendship with Ade Fenton resulted with their 1st vinyl release on Advanced Records called ''Impulse EP'. Afterwards the started their Excel Recordings, label where the most of the releases are from Sound Diffusion and their close mates. Excel Recordings was a big attribute for them in getting contact with other DJ's and producers thus starting an active collaborations with many of them. In the upcoming years Sound Diffusion were touring many festivals and venues in South - Eastern Europe, clubs in Romania, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia. Today their music is remixed by artists like Uto Karem, Marko Nastic, and their releases appear on the one of the most respected labels like John Acquaviva's Definitive and others.
