Sofia Tarasova (Софія Тарасова; born 31 March, 2001 in Kyiv, Ukraine) is a singer who represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013. She finished in 2nd place with 121 points, under Malta's 130. Sofia started to sing at the mere age of 5 and participated in many singing competitions around Europe, and ended up at or near the top. She was in the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Zhityeviy Pazl" (Puzzle of life), but was not chosen to represent the nation. On 2 August 2013, Sofia competed in the Ukrainian selection for the 2013 contest with her song We Are One, finishing first in a field of 20 candidates, winning the right to represent her nation.
