About Sodacake
sodacake are solange and damian, a bubbly duo that came together 7 years ago to write the soundtrack to a play, then a radio documentary and a sound installation. Solange plays keyboards and damian plays percussions and one thing led to another and the year before last they released an album called "everything's always". That was a while ago now and they are releasing another one this year in between all the other things they do. The next album will be more of something they found in the first which simply means they are writing more together, as in tracks like "Do you read me". They loved that musical discovery and although they have worked for many years in experimental sound they are really only just discovering their style.
