Slowcut (Sometimes written as SLOWCUT) is a post-metal / atmospheric sludge band from Brisbane, Australia. They released their debut single Waist Deep on July 7th 2023, and a four track album followed in September of that year. They are currently recording a 2 track EP, titled 'Flesh', to be released on the 18th of July 2025. Both songs have been played live extensively preceding its release. Whilst 'Waist Deep' is a fast, hardcore sludge track with a runtime of just under 6 minutes, the rest of their catalogue follows a much slower, doomier trend with longer runtimes and atmospheric breaks in the vein of ISIS and Cult of Luna.
