About Sirka Ragnar
In December 2004, two oldschool-indie guys met to establish what later has become sirka ragnar. sirka ragnar is an indietronika project located in Oslo, Norway. The duo, consisting of Marius Grøtterud Egenes and Kenneth Silseth, combines 1950`s tape recorders with the sound of new technology. At the time they are working on material for their debut album. Even if sirka ragnar is only a duo, they have on their forthcoming album been helped by Lars Wabø (Jaga Jazzist) and Ivar Chr. Johansen (formerly Jaga Jazzist, Briskeby) with trombones and trumpets, to make the sirka ragnar sound complete. The sirka ragnar sound is described by themselves as: two spoonfulls of dirty low-fi, a hint of good old indie and a touch of tweaked electronica.
