About Simon Balestrazzi
Sound alchemist and conceptual-experimental artist, Simon Balestrazzi started his career in the early 80s with the co-foundation of the avant-garde collective T.AC (Tomografia Assiale Computerizzata), still active this day. He is also at the head of the dark-chamber ensemble Kino Glaz, realizing a handful of albums and touring thoughthout Europe. Lately Simon Baletrazzi graduated in sound engineering at the Institute of Audio Research (United States). He also involved in numerous inter-media projects and formed a variety of free-form electro-acoustic collectives such as MOEX. The Sky is Full Of Kytes (2012) is the newest solo release from Simon Balestrazzi. The musical direction is turned to heavily buzzing dronescapes, spacious post-industrial moves, warmly textural sound atmospheres and abstract trance-like vibes. Impressively prolific artist and a brilliant contributor to longform electronic music.
