About Shu-de

Shu-de is known for its Tuva throat singing and interpretation of shamanic songs. The band recorded its first album in 1994 Voices from the Distant Steppe, followed by Kongurei in 1996. Its members are: Oleg Kuular: harp, Igil, khomous, throat singing, vocals Mergen Mongush: throat singing, vocals Leonid Oorzhak: doshpulur, Igil, throat singing, vocals Boris Salchak: percussion, vocals Nadezhda Shoigu: vocals Alexey Shoigu: arranger, artistic director
