About Show Off Freaks
Energetic Drop-D-Punk & Skatepunk melodies, party songs, songs to reflect on, Live-Shows to have fun: Show Off Freaks. This are Schreibi (bass), Toni (drums), Laabsi (guitar). Since summer 2004 the guys from Karstädt (Nord-Brandenburg) rock with their Skatepunk melodies. They've often demonstrated that they know how to get their audience sweaty, no matter if they play for their real fans or far away from home. No excuse, no club is to small to play in, no way is to long. Their concerts are as energetic as their music: Jumping around whenever possible (not all stages and guitars survived this!), partying with the audience, this is what their gigs are about. They already played with bands like SPN-X, Zaunpfahl, COR or the Skatoons. The topics they sing about are very different: from fun to personal stuff to politics. After some years of gaining experience and after many gigs and festivals their first album was released. „Wohin der Weg uns führt“ is the first studio record and they are on tour again! If you see a flyer containig their name get ready to have some fun!
