About Shoot Out the Lights

Begun in the early summer of 2003 after parting ways with her former band Radio Vago, Adrienne Pearson started an entirely new project. With Ross Horwitz on guitar, Chris Rock on bass, Matt Cowan on keyboards, and Rick Moe on drums, a group was formed with the express purpose of stunning audiences and making a singular mark on the current music scene. Shoot Out The Lights is a dark journey into the soul that possesses elements of gothic melancholy mixed with an explosive, frantic energy. Drawing from a gamut of sonic textures and musical blueprints, Shoot Out The Lights conjures up the vein of Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Stooges, the Cure, yet still retains its own identity. Debuting their live show on Halloween 2003, Shoot Out The Lights has been extremely active ever since. Shows at Spaceland, the Echo, Silverlake Lounge, and countless others with bands such as Year Future, Kill Me Tomorrow, 400 Blows, Oslo, and the Lovemakers have established a firm fanbase and a strong presence in the L.A. underground.
