There are two bands that go by the name "Shipyards" 1)An Experimental Band from Vancouver, BC, Canada The band's aesthetic follows in the footsteps of avant-garde–leaning acts like Acid Mothers Temple, Fushitsusha, and The Dead C, Shipyards offers an eclectic mix of freeform sounds characterized by industrial static, hyper-fast to syrup-slow beats, atonal drone and fuzzy guitars. Band Members include (as of April 2010): Jarret Evan Sampson (Of Role Mach and Collapsing Opposites) David Mattatall (Of Greenbelt Collective and Shout!) Erin Green 2) An Indie Rock Band from Brooklyn, New York.
