About Sheesham & Lotus

Sheesham and Lotus met in Alabama, settled in Canada as musicians playing for old-time dances and gatherings. They kept running in to each other in all the states of the union until they decided to band together as a duo and spread the joy of old-time music and dance. They sing, in the old style clear mountain harmonies and ragtime tunes. The music is Old-time Rag-time High Steppin' Mountain music. Sheesham and Lotus perform for many different types of event. Concerts, Workshops, Classroom performances, Square and Contra dances, Private and Corporate parties and functions, and Wakes.
