About Seremoniamestari
Seremoniamestari (Matti Huhta, born 1976) is a Finnish rap artist originally from Espoo, but now a resident of Tampere. His debut album Omin sanoin (2000) was the first Finnish-only rap album released by a major label. The word seremoniamestari is Finnish for Master of Ceremonies, ie. MC. In 2003 Seremoniamestari officially shortened his artist name to simply Sere. Today he mostly performs together with fellow rapper SP (formerly Silkinpehmee). Interestingly, Sere is a student at the University of Tampere, while SP is a lecturer (in philosophy) there.
