About Scott Sorry

Scott Sorry (born Gerard Scott in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 30 October 1978; died 30 October 2025) was an American singer songwriter remembered as a solo artist and for being a member of Amen, The Wildhearts, Sorry and the Sinatras, and, briefly, Brides of Destruction. After a five-year break from a turbulent 15 year career of music (which included stints in Amen, The Wildhearts and also his former group Sorry and The Sinatras), Sorry released his first solo album “When We Were Kings” on March 18th 2016 through "Only One Records". The album pulls influences from punk and melodic hardcore, Americana and Rock and Roll. Upon release the album debuted at Number 2 on the Official UK rock charts. On October 30, 2021, he released his first new single in six years, "Black Dog Dancers" via Generation X-Ray Records.
