Scott Lee Andrews (Midasuno/Exit_International/Mutation/Strange Unit) started the Jaws of Deaf project after moving to Australia and Exit_International going on hiatus in 2015. All self produced, the project would be compromised of a series of 5 track EPs, then after each 5 fans would vote on their 3 favourite from each release to be included in a more professionally produced album. Only one of these would be release, Delicious Discomforts, which would include 6 of the voted songs included. After 9 volumes, a bonus volume 7.5 and 2 separate singles, Jaws of Deaf would come to an end to make way for Strange Unit.
