About Scent Merci
Scent Merci is a post-punk / new wave band from Treviso, Veneto, Italy, active in the 1980s. The group was founded in 1984 by the ex Wax Heroes members (a goth band active in the early '80s) and continued until the last years of the '80s. A melodic dark sound really impressive experienced in a good live activity (famous a concert in Venice, recorded in a demo tape). Just a limited number of official recordings: 3 compilations around the second half of the '80s, one of them on vinyl ("Amnesty International Benefit Compilation", 1987). Scent Merci members included: Giorgio Ricci (guitar), Massimo Zanatta (vocals), Pietro Zanetti (drums), Enzo Procopio (keyboards), Giorgio Vettori (bass), Andrea Desiderà (bass, from 1985).
