After their self-released EP, entitled "The =D EP", the boys in Save Your Strength decided it was time to take things a bit more seriously, and get cracking on a more matured, full-grown sound that will separate them from the rest. The new music has been reviewed by those who have attended their most recent shows and so far SYS has received mostly positive remarks about the creativity that has poured out of the four of them since their breakup in 2009. TJ, Jeff, Riley, and Jesse have a lot to show in their upcoming release and are incredibly excited to show it. "It's a completely different side of us. I was 16 when we broke up and my musical adventures since then have matured me in so many ways and as we began writing I expected nothing less from the other guys. We are super pumped to get to the studio, all I can say right now is that this music that we've been writing is the music that I am most proud of. We're gonna snap necks and surprise everyone with the hard work and talent that we've put into these new songs. SO GET EXCITED!" says frontman Jeff or more commonly known by fans as "Jepha" The frontman concludes in saying "We're tired of being strapped to one type of music that everyone expects out of us. We are here, this time around, to make the music that we want and to bring the true meaning of Save Your Strength to the table. I guarantee that this is going to blow people away and make us stand out." With some of the aspects that the band was "strapped down to" missing nobody is prepared for what the band has in-store for the world next, but they all do appear to be confident with what they're doing in their current mindset. The band is preparing to release the new record around late winter/early spring.
