About Sammo Hung
They met in an orange room. They are all early twenties. One of them is female but they don't like to talk about it. "They" are: Iestyn Lloyd (guitar), Richard Davies (drums), Jemma Roper (vocals), Andrew "The Terrier" Coombes (bass). Since they began in early 2000, they have played with Rocket From The Crypt, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Beatings, Mclusky, The Cooper Temple Clause, and other such noisy doowacky. They have released three singles: Hit The Konvulsator (Townhill Records 2001), Random SOB/ I Broke My Office (And Said Some Guy Did It) (Boobytrap Records 2002) and The Simon Richards Popular Front (Purr Records, May 2003). They have won awards and everything. They picked up Best New Talent at the 2002 Pop Factory Awards – beating fellow nominees Funeral For A Friend and High Contrast. Jemma won two gongs at the Cheezywritz Awards 2002: Shoutiest Singer and Sexiest Person in a Welsh Band. She has a robotic ankle. Some people like this.
