About Sakura Pups
www.myspace.com/sakurapupsgrindcore Sakura Pups (Trevor Osborne, 1987-present, born in Denver, Colorado) is a noise/synth-grind artist based in Tucson, AZ. He started the project to show tribute to Bubblegum Octopus, his number one inspiration for doing Synth-grind. Since 2006, Sakura Pups has released numerous tracks, and has released one CD on the net-label DEXANDTHECITY, called "The New(est) Black," and has appeared on dustinmustdie's "10-Second Compilation" (Fur Is Dead) and DEXANDTHECITY's "Dextrash Cumpilation" (The Mucus Machine). He has recorded other CD's, however, and once claimed to have "Over 1000 songs" recorded before "the infamous hard-drive crash of '07." His style is usually categorized by blast beats, noisy vocals, and random instrumentation; however, some of his later works features a more methodical and complete approach. Aside from synth-grind tracks, he has also created synth-pop, indsutrial, noise and techno songs. The driving force behind Sakura Pups, Trevor, is also in the industrial projects Homemade Abortion Kit, Famous Halos, Cyanide Theodicy, the hip-hop projects Tre[Too]Silent and Yung Slug, the mock-rock Megalodon, the experimental breakcore projects ?hred and What The Fork?!?!, and will participate in his old band, Kids Talk Trash, once again. He has previously performed in the bands The Attention Deficits, Myst of Despair, and Silent Heroes, and has collaborated with Ja'Lil, Tribal Ink, The Dropships are Coming, LecTronC, A Split Psyche, A Beautiful Lotus and Koobaatoo Asparagus. As of March 7th, 2010, Sakura Pups had started releasing music through his own netlabel, Cherry Blossom Dog Records, releasing 7 net releases in it's first week. Also at that time, he began referring to himself as "lolitacore," which he describes as "Grindcore for cute people." Official
