About Sakari Heikkilä
Sakari Heikkilä (born 12th of March 1984) is a singer/songwriter from Jyväskylä, Finland. He grew up in Pietarsaari with love towards romantic/impressionistic classical music and Queen - then growing up with punkrock, grunge and pop. At the age of 16, he left to Kaustinen college of music to explore something new. He learned about finnish folk and various other genres. After graduating and serving in the finnish military, he continued studying music in Jyväskylä. In his music, Heikkilä combines a vast variety of the influence he has gathered since childhood. Heikkilä's musical style is both complicated and attracting at the same time. His first EP, self-distributed "Sanomat" presents acoustic songs that are smooth pop music with a twist of other resembling styles. http://www.sakarimusic.net
