About Sailing Sweater
Sailing Sweater is the combined effort of four friends who make music that can be described as "Sunshine Rock and Roll." By using a variety of orchestral instruments such as violins, guitars, pianos, trumpets, trombones, (the occasional ukulele,) and bells, and fusing them together with driving percussion, Sailing Sweater attempts to make a "joyful noise" with every chord, note and melody played. To the 'Sweaters,' inspiration can come in many forms, may it be God, the weather, hearts, broken hearts, death, life, or television programs. Their music captures these themes, slaps them with a jovial tune, and presents them in a good natured, humorous manner that makes even the most snobby, un-emotional hipster get up and dance. "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."
