The complex metaphors and imagery that he creates allows the listeners to journey to places by simply closing their eyes and listening. Inspired by artists like Nas, Raekwon and AZ, Sage has vowed to bring Hip Hop back! This is not a hobby, for he explains, “I'm always going to put my all into my lyrics, I’m a lyricist first in its purest form, and so I'm always going to take extensive time with my lyrics". It is that passion and commitment to hip hop that puts Sage in a class with few others. Building his career one block at a time, the self-described fan of music developed his musical philosophy from his upbringing. Raised by musically-inclined parents, he was introduced to the universal language at an early age. Although always around music he didn’t begin his own expressions until mid-teens. It is clear now that he is prepared to show and prove. The influence of hip-hop icons coupled with his natural ability is the impetus and motivational force that drives Sageinfinite!
