About SIXSTITCH

Out of the desolate Arizona desert comes an uncanny fusion of break beat electronics mixed with the hard hitting rock / hardcore music of today. The music embodies styles similar to Prodigy, White Zombie and Marilyn Manson while creating a new and unheard of sound of its own. Arizona born and raised, Sixstitch has laid massive tracks across the Southwest, sharing the stage with acts such as Static-X, Ill Nino, Incubus, 30 Seconds to Mars, Story of the Year and Opiate for the Masses, as well as been honored performers at 103.9's Edgefest and the infamous Club Tattoo Aniversary Party in 2006. Their debut release, The Collapse of American Dreams was recently recorded with acclaimed engineer and producer Chris Holmes (Stone Temple Pilots, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers) Currently drawing hundreds of metal goers in the Phoenix metro area, Sixstitch continues its onslaught of hard hitting beats and screams. In 2009, 4 Sixstitch members make new project, called Butcher Jones. "In late 07' Sixstitch was in negotiations with record label American Voodoo/Universal. The deal was timely and the bands direction was unfortunately misapprehended. As we continued to write the 2nd release from Sixstitch, we began to emerge on a profound self axiom, this isn't Sixstitch. The new material was more stripped down. The feel leaned more towards Rock N' Roll than Metal, and the electronics had become a second thought. The guitars filled the electronic voids in ways Sixstitch had never before composed. By late summer the decision was made. The album would be spawned from a contradistinctive entity, a new name with fresh energy...... Butcher Jones. So where does this leave Sixstitch, dead and gone? No. Sixstitch is not finished. But in 09' we will be performing and writing as Butcher Jones. And for all we know, some Sixstitch songs may pop up here and there live, and its not a long shot to say a new Sixstitch song my appear in 09', only time will tell. However, the release of the new album 'No Gods West' will be from Butcher Jones and Sixstitch will now become the side project."
