They consists of: HITOMI (히토미), KANNY (카니) , Mei (메이), DOHEE (도희), JUNHWI (준휘), SOHA (소하), SEUNGJOO (승주), and SHUIE (슈이). They made their official debut on October 16, 2024 with the their self-titled name "SAY MY NAME" . Their fandom name is:LOVvmE (로미) The group's name "SAY MY NAME" carries a hopeful message, reminding us not to lose ourselves. It reflects how we may forget “who we are” through life’s pains, but by embracing our name, we can overcome challenges and stay true to our identity. On February 17, 2025, SAY MY NAME released a teaser for their second EP. The next day, they unveiled the promotion timetable for My Name Is..., to be released on March 13. On April 9, 2025, the group's Japanese Twitter announced that they would be releasing the Japanese version of ShaLala (ShaLala - Japanese version) on April 11. On July 10, 2025, the group's label, iNKODE, announced the addition of new member Shuie to the group, turning them from 7 to 8 members. Their 2011 release "Say My Name 2" is an orchestrated collage of psych-drums, soundtrack strings, microcassette samples and haunting arias held together by pasted layers of live instrumentation. After burning ears with his 2010 debut EP, Say My Name spent a long Winter in Lawrence, Kansas, shacked up with a crate of warped vinyl, experimenting with the art of sampling. Recording to Dictaphone and physically manipulating both record player and recording device, he built up a library of phantom fuzz and bent dollar-bin hooks. A skilled musician, he then spent months arranging guitars, percussion, piano, synths and hammond organ, playing with, and blurring the lines between, appropriated audio and inspired intervention.
