Berlin based a/v & dark electronics project originally hailing from Canada. SARIN is an electronic music & multimedia performance project based out of Berlin. SARIN has released over a dozen vinyls & cassettes in the past few years under his solo project and other collaborative projects since transitioning from his audio/video art background. These releases have spanned across various labels such as [aufnahme + wiedergabe], BITE, X-IMG, B.F.E. and Khemia. Besides his solo project Sarin, he performs as Nostromo (with Unhuman), Konkurs (with Blush Response) and Human Performance Lab (with Matt Cangiano). He's also the founder of the X-IMG, a cassette label & A/V platform. The sound of Sarin can be described as a blend of abrasive drum programming and brutally minimal bass lines paired with dystopian cut-up style sampling of media detritus, invoking spirits of militant body techno fetishists of before. Sarin's DJ & live sets have taken him across the globe from the Balkans to Asia and all corners of Europe and South America.
