Lis Sørensen (born May 28th, 1955) is a Danish song writer, composer and singer. She has become one of the most popular singers in Danish rock music. Lis Sørensen has a formal education in classical music back in the 70s. Together with Anne Linnet she formed the girl group 'Shit & Chanel' and later the 'Anne Linnet Band'. She also worked with the composer Sebastian. She made her debut recording in 1983, which was followed by many others one of which 'Hjerternes Sang' (Song of the Hearts) sold in an impressive number.
