Ryoji Yoshitomi is a composer and sound programmer associated with Nintendo. He began his career in the company’s Research and Development 1 (R&D1) department, where he worked on music and sound effects for several Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles, particularly within the Wario series. In later years, Yoshitomi transitioned to Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development (EAD), where his work focused primarily on sound effects and audio programming rather than music composition. He has not been credited with composing new music during this period. In more recent projects, he has been involved in the Mario series, mainly serving in roles related to sound supervision.
