Ryan Kinel (born November 16, 1988) is an entertainment news YouTuber who initially gained attention by sharing his thoughts on Disney's Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. Over time, he became known for his commentary on what he describes as the influx of "SJW/woke content," a term he uses to refer to intellectual properties (IPs) that include heavy left-wing political messaging in entertainment. Ryan has expressed that he prefers entertainment products to be free of politics, criticizing Hollywood for allegedly including such messaging to virtue signal and appease critics and activists. Ryan originally gained prominence through Geeks + Gamers, becoming recognized as one of several starting YouTubers associated with the Fandom Menace, a community critical of modern pop culture and media.
