About Ruth de las Plantas
I make music for plants, because I grew up hearing grannies say: if you sing or speak nice words to your plants, they grow prettier. I am Ruth, I was born 22 years ago in Guadalajara Mexico. During the quarantine, I get to know my two great loves: plants and lo-fi. It was a season where I spent a lot of time alone. My plants were my only companions, and lo-fi helped me focus and do my music production career assignments. Fascinated with the connection between me, my plants and lo-fi, I was inspired to create my first single "simbiosis". And that's how Ruth de las Plantas was born. My plants continue to inspire music in me, and I have decided to continue creating songs so that the plants of all those who love them continue to grow well and beautiful.
