About Running Thoughts
Running Thoughts is an all girl 3-piece rock/punk band hailing from Brooklyn, NY by way of The Bronx. The girls are heavily influenced by The Ramones (Kings of the 16th note), The Runaways, The Kinks, and Kill By Inches. Their music is simple, hard, and loud - the way the Universe intended, and you may find yourself bouncing around during one of their sets without knowing how you got there. The trio of girls began writing in 2008, and haven't looked back since - with songs like LVE (Shat on Me), Heroin, and Paranoid...you've never heard anything quite like this before. Is that a good thing or bad thing? It depends on whose ears you listen with. It all started with a girl with a moistness for bass playing... Throw in the little sister with a hard-on for sexy guitar licks.. Cue the drummer chick with a knack for beating the hell out of things... Mix in a love for all things music, and you've got arguably the ONLY chick band to come out of the Boogie Down Bronx! ..... Eminem F*cked Josie and the Pussycats and Running Thoughts was born.
