It all started on a cold December night in Massachusetts. Ruby needed a room, Swiss needed a housemate. What they both got was much more than they bargained for: Swiss was hypnotized by the songs he heard Ruby singing in the shower. Before they knew it, they had up and moved to Berlin, Germany on a whim, set up a studio and began writing and recording songs. Late one evening Swiss was surfing the web when he stumbled across an incredible sound -- Solo, an electronic artist from Nuremberg. He called Ruby and they both agreed that he had just the sound that they were looking for. Luckily Solo felt the same and Ruby Rough was born. Since their coincidental beginnings they've been busily creating music for their debut album. But even before the record is finished they've been "discovered" -- their music has been included with Amy Winehouse and Duffy on compilations in Europe and Asia. Ruby Rough's latest success is being in the soundtrack of the pilot to "Lie to Me" (Fox Network, USA). We're curious to see what will happen next...
