About Rossana Taddei
The Uruguayan singer / songwriter with roots in Ticino, Switzerland is known in her homeland as one of the most beautiful voices that are heard there. Stylish mixed Rossana Taddei own ideas and influences from the Uruguayan folk music, from rock, pop and jazz as well as from the Italian music to a new, very own sound. In the years 2011/12 Rossana is touring with her album "Tra cielo e terra" (poems by poets from the Italian part of Switzerland set to music) on tour. To date, Rossana Taddei recorded as a soloist or with other musicians ten CDs. The duo minimal mambo In the duo MIMIMALmambo Cantautora Rossana Taddei meets with the well-known Uruguayan percussionist Gustavo Etchenique. In 2010, the two have been in more than 20 concerts throughout Europe, they completed the tour with a concert at the Uruguayan Embassy to the UN in Geneva. MINIMALmambo played three concerts at the "Third international Cantautore-Festival" in Quito, Ecuador. 2011, the two played in Barcelona at the «Festival de autor di Barnasants» a tribute to Mario Benedetti. They are currently on tour with their new CD MINIMALmambo.
