About Roquivários
Roquivários were formed in 1981 with the emerging portuguese rock movement, especially since the big success of "Ar de Rock" by Rui Veloso. It featured Midus (vocals), Mário Gramaço (sax and vocals), Rabanal (drums), Luís Jorge Loução (guitar) and Paulo Corval (bass). Started as Rock & Várius (rock and others), and it reflected precisely what the band wished to do, play a wide range of music styles, not only pure rock but also pop, reggae and ska.
