Pop Rock group from South Africa that sing in both English and Afrikaans. Roots Of Youth started off in 2002 under the name 'Buckle Up' playing gigs in the Pretoria area. After winning R 100 000 at the Doritos Be Heard competition in 2010 Roots Of Youth was signed by record label SONY/BMG. In 2011 a thirteen episode TV Series, called Roots of Youth was conceptualised featuring the band members in the cast.
