Rocq-E Harrell is an American soul singer from Los Angeles. She is the mother of R&B singer Canela Cox and the sister of Grady Harrell. Rocq-E has sung Backgroundvocals for alot of big artists such as Diana Ross, Vanessa Williams, Patti LaBelle, Stevie Wonder and others. She even has sung on Aretha Franklin's wedding with Love Unlimited Orchestra, after Aretha's sister Carolyn Franklin recommended her. She now lives in The Netherlands since 1990 and forms the group Big Black & Beautiful with Lucretia and Michelle David. Before that she released her first & only solo album 'Languege Of Love' in 1996.
