About Invisible Robot Hands
Invisible Robot Hands is a noise/IDM/breakcore musician from Providence, Rhode Island who began releasing music online in 2009. He primarily composes and performs using a DMG-01 Nintendo Game Boy and a Sony PSP 1001, running Little Sound DJ and Little GP Tracker on the two handhelds, respectively. He founded 8Bit Northeast (a net-collective for local independent chiptune musicians in the New England and New Jersey area) in 2011 and organizes DIY basement shows for artists involved in the group. He has also led several instructional lectures in Rhode Island on synthesizing music using the Game Boy's sound chip. Invisible Robot Hands releases albums both independently and under Rhythmus Records, a regional netlabel based out of Salem, Massachusetts. He attended Bard College in upstate New York in 2012 and majored in American literature. He enjoys poetry, absurdist comedy, and anti-folk.
