About Roberto Giaccaglia
Roberto Giaccaglia is the principal bassoon with the Gran Teatro La Fenice de Venezia. He is also the solo bassoonist with I Solisti Veneti. He also plays with a number of other chamber ensembles. During his career, Giaccaglia has won many musical prizes, has taught bassoon in Padova and Latina, Italy, and has recorded many times throughout Europe. His many concert appearances include the Koncertgebouw in Amsterdam and New York's Lincoln Center. Giaccaglia graduated from the Conservatoire G.B. Martim in Bologna, Italy, and the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart, Germany.
