About Rivers Run Red
Rivers Run Red were a death metal/groove metal band from Toronto, Canada. During their beginnings in 2006 under the name 'My Sweet Shadow' they went through several lineup changes before changing name to Rivers Run Red and finally achieving some member stability. The last-known lineup includes Andrew LaPorta on rhythm guitars, Silvio Lo Presti on vocals, Matthew Trojan on bass, Massimo Taglieri as lead guitarist, and Anthony Ricci on drums. In October 2010, they released a self-produced 4-track EP recorded at DNA Facilities in Toronto. As of June 2020, the band is no longer active.
