About Red Rocket

There are at least three bands with the name "Red Rocket". 1. Red Rocket was a short-lived emo/pop punk band from the Seattle area. They have released a 7'' on Hairhurt Records in 1995, the album "July" on Excursion Records in 1996 and appeared on the label's compilation "Forecast" together with State Route 522 and two other bands. 2. Red Rocket are a jazz trio from Ireland and Belgium, Consisting of Guitarist Simon Jermyn, Joachim Badenhorst on Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone, and Sean Carpio on Drums. They played together for the first time in Holland, and in 2006, began work on their record "Mitten" at the top of a tower in a forest near Antwerp, which was released on RAT records. The members of Red Rocket are currently working in several other Collaborations also. 3. Red Rocket are a Stoner Rock/Punk band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. These 4-headed stoner rockers have come together since November 2011. After some jamsessions they quickly got their roots and chemistry on track and were almost immediately ready to play live on stage. With influences such as Fu Manchu, Red Fang, Motörhead, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies and Queens of the Stone Age, one can imagine they like to play loud. Red Rocket is: Bruno Vogel - Drums, Lead Vocals Tom van Garderen - Bas, Backing Vocals Ross MacLean - Rhythm Guitar Maxim van Veen - Lead Guitar
