The artist and song writer was born in Birmingham,he wrote "Red baloon" for Dave Clark Five,he also wrote "Big ship" for Cliff Richards besides many others. He is getting on a bit now but still a great artist, He is appearing in Wolver hampton at the wulfrun hall in March 2009. I used to see him when i was younger, I last saw him two weeks ago, he is still going strong, I enjoyed his songs like many of his followers.
