About Rage Addicts

About Us The Rage Addicts was founded in Tucson, AZ after David Richards & Aaron Taylor came to know each other by common interests, including music, college, and computer engineering. They met at Campus Crossing Apartment's in Tucson, where they both attend the University of Arizona's College of Engineering, both focusing in Computer Engineering. They both started having acoustic sessions together shortly after meeting. Shortly after started writing their own music together on guitar and piano as well. It was soon after they decided to start producing music in the genre of House/Electronica/Progressive Rock together after David got the notion of writing something in that genre by himself one day in March 2009 at the recording studio in the computer science building at the University of Arizona. The First Conception... The first song was named, "Midnight Lights". Shortly after that song, we started working on little bits of unfinished pieces experimenting together using Logic Pro, and a Roland Synth of our new genre and style. Taking off from there... In May 2009, David introduced Reason 4 by Propellerhead to Aaron. It was then in mid-June that Aaron went on a vacation for a week or so, brought his laptop on the trip, and came back with 3 electronica style songs, all which has been created in the car on his laptop on the trip. the songs where, "Oscillate", "Rise", and "Fever". After those 3 songs, we made it official that Rage Addicts would be doing the genre's of, Progressive House, Electronica, Trance and Indie. As of Now... We have over 16 songs, hours of raw material, and dozens of lyrics already written. Every new song we come out with, It's always better than the last, and we'll continue that tradition.
